About This Opportunity:

We are looking for an eager Accountant with strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to join our team. This person will assist with accounting processes including month-end close procedures, internal controls, revenue recognition, and reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or expand their Accounting experience and join a growing team.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and documents policies and procedures related to the daily processing and reconciliation of transactions associated with various product programs.
  • Performs and/or directs others in performing the activity processing and reconciliation procedures noted above.
  • Assists with developing periodic reporting of activity and balances for financial services products. Works with reporting team in the design, testing and distribution of reports.
  • Liaison with third parties for various aspects of programs.
  • Responsible for preparation or review of entries associated with the recording of transactions for input into the general ledger.
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation related general ledger accounts.
  • Work with accounting, operations and IT on balancing and settlement procedures for new product programs as they are rolled out.
  • Assist in the coordination of financial statement and/or regulatory audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 1-3 years Accounting experience preferred, Finance positions or internship may substitute.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance required, focus in Accounting highly preferred.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

KSA (Knowledge; Skills; Abilities):
  • Prior experience in FinTech a plus.
  • Strong systems skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Access and Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Oracle Financial Management accounting software experience (Version R12) strongly desired.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in an extremely fast-paced environment.
