Description:

Position Overview:
Provides input for tax filings and tax reports and provides supporting information for the Managed Service Provider. Administers core tax or business systems projects and processes. Collects, analyzes and interprets data/input in response to non-routine situations. Operates relevant financial and reporting systems.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various reports for the sales and use, beverage and/or personal and real property tax teams.
  • Assists with business license set up.
  • Supports by gathering information to assist during tax audits conducted by various governmental agencies by researching data and providing information.


Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant tax experience is required

Related Work Experience:

  • 1 or more year(s) of previous experience in an Accounting Support role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of personal and real property tax principles preferred
  • Basic knowledge of sales & use tax principles preferred
  • Beverage industry experience preferred
  • Experience with internet tax research tools is preferred
  • Experience with PTMS personal and real property database and Vertex Sales & Use system is preferred


Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Understanding of database concepts is vital for success in this position.
  • Competent analytical skills
