About the Role:
Perigee Manufacturing Company, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Detroit, MI! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key financial role in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your accuracy and expertise will directly support our operations and growth.


Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
Monitor and track inventory-related financial transactions in support of manufacturing operations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop (minimum of 5 years required)
Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
