Job Summary:
We’re looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Fort Worth. This role will provide critical support in General Ledger accounting, Treasury management, and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Cash Applications, with additional exposure to reporting, accounts payable, and systems/process implementations.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Accounting
Support daily sweep preparation and monitor cash remittances to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Assist with preparation and posting of journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
Support month-end and year-end close activities in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as needed, such as accounts payable processing, audit support, and fluctuation (flux) analysis.
Treasury
Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts and initiate fund transfers as needed.
Support cash flow forecasting and reporting.
Assist with processing outgoing payments and maintaining accurate treasury records.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve cash management issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
0–2 years of accounting or internship experience preferred.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP exposure a plus).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
Experience with QuickBooks Online and AP automation tools (preferred but not required).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
