We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper-QuickBooks Specialist with HVAC industry experience to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our company.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Enter vendor invoices and customer payments
Prepare and send customer invoices
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections
Process vendor payments
Review transactions for proper coding and accuracy
Assist with payroll reporting and payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
Track expenses and assist with job costing
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Resolve billing, vendor, and accounting discrepancies
Assist management with financial reports and accounting-related projects

Requirements

HVAC industry experience REQUIRED
QuickBooks Online experience REQUIRED
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
Experience with job costing in an HVAC or service environment preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
