Job Summary:

Work Location: This is a fully onsite position. Remote and hybrid work are not available.

The Warehouse Operations Trainer will serve as both the program manager and the lead hands-on instructor for our warehousing teams. In this dual role, you will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs that optimize safety, efficiency, and mastery of the Gartman system and QMS processes. Beyond direct instruction, you will be responsible for scaling our training program by developing and managing a "Train-the-Trainer" program for shift leads and supervisors. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

What you will be doing:

* Develop, improve, and maintain the warehouse training curriculum, including detailed lesson plans, visual training aids, and QMS documents.
* In collaboration with Human Development, design and spearhead a "Train-the-Trainer" program to equip warehouse supervisors and leads with the instructional skills needed to coach frontline employees effectively.
* Collaborate with Human Development and Safety to support onboarding and ongoing workshops for warehouse employees and managers. Training areas include cross-training skills, safety/OSHA compliance, equipment operation, activities tied to KPIs, communication, and continuous improvement of processes.
* In collaboration with the Operations Leadership Team, ensure all training programs align with core warehouse management goals, optimizing inventory accuracy, receiving, picking and shipping efficiency, and logistics workflows.
* Track and analyze the effectiveness of training initiatives using individual and group performance metrics. Adjust programs based on operational data.
* Regularly evaluate feedback from employees and operations leadership to drive continuous improvements in content management and delivery, Gartman operating instructions, and work processes.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:


* Proven ability to translate workflows into clear, digestible training modules for all employees working within the warehousing functions.
* Deep understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor supervisors into effective peer trainers.
* Ability to map training outcomes directly to warehouse KPIs (e.g., error rates, will call console – 20-minute report, safety incidences, etc.)

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred.
* 4 to 7 years of related experience in training delivery, instructional design, or warehouse operations management.
* Working experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and standard learning management tools.
* Project management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

* This position is performed in a warehouse environment where temperatures may fluctuate, and a classroom environment where there are periods of standing, walking, and operating a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Occasional travel to company locations may be required (10-15%)
