Okie Staffing is hiring an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role is a great fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing bookkeeping responsibilities with advanced QuickBooks knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks, chart of accounts, billing, invoicing, expense tracking, account reconciliation, and general bookkeeping functions. Sales tax knowledge is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and help with supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of the business.
Duties may include:
Manage bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Maintain and understand the chart of accounts
Process billing, invoices, payments, and expense tracking
Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with monthly financial reporting and account review
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
Communicate professionally with internal team members, vendors, and customers
Assist management with accounting-related questions and reporting needs
Prior bookkeeping experience required
Advanced QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of chart of accounts and general ledger activity
Billing, invoicing, and expense tracking experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work as a team and independently
Comfortable working in a mid-volume industrial office environment
Sales tax knowledge is a plus
Must be dependable, professional, and able to meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
Industrial, construction, manufacturing, service, or distribution industry experience
Experience handling multiple accounts, vendors, or job/customer billing
Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
Experience preparing reports for ownership or management
Will require a national background and drug test
Full Time
Pay will be based on level of experience
