Hourly Wage: $18.23/Regular/Full-Time
Incumbent functions for these busy office-support duties encompass a variety of multitasking responsibilities for maintaining timely deadlines and requests. Working directly with superiors and performing tasks independently with utmost discretion, judgment, and completion. Bookkeeping in all aspects are practiced and executed.
Examples of Work Performed:
Responsible for preparing quarterly reports for all areas of program. Duties include but not limited to: preparing and maintaining accounting records, journals and ledgers, maintaining and updating reports, statements and accounts payable & account receivable.
Work is reviewed for accuracy of records and timely reporting according to established rules and regulations.
Will be responsible for Travel Authorization, data entry, system filing and hardcopy filing.
Employee will generate Payroll Actions, employee leave audits, update job descriptions, and new vendor request.
In charge of large conference room scheduling.
Will be in charge of ordering for office staff and employee personnel supply ordering.
Report running on D365 financial system and Isolved system.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting theories, principles, practices, and terminology.
Knowledge of D65 accounting systems.
Skill in use of computer and assorted software programs.
Skill in operating standard office equipment such as 10-key calculator, copier, scanner, fax machines and typewriters.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbal presentation.
Ability to work under stress relative to maintaining timeframes and meeting deadlines.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while working with, near proximity, or handling highly confidential files, sensitive correspondence, financial records and other inmate/client privileged materials.
Ability to process purchase orders, travel authorizations, mileage reimbursements, journal entries, and budget modifications in accordance to YN policies and procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, administration, YN programs and departments, vendors, general public, incarcerated individuals, and phone etiquette.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Three years work experience as a Bookkeeper IV or equivalent.
Required to pass pre-employment drug test.
Required to pass pre-employment background check.
Must possess a valid First Aid/CPR card or obtain one within six months of hire.
Must maintain strict confidentiality of program and client information.
Required to sign a code of conduct and sanctions for misconduct.
Enrolled Yakama Preference, but all applicants are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Requirements:
Associate Degree in Business, or related field.
