Staff Accountant

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial accuracy, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making across our growing senior living portfolio.

What You’ll Do



* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports



* Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries



* Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts monthly



* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes



* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis



* Participate in internal controls and audit preparation



* Support month-end and year-end closing processes



* Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership as requested



* Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies



What We’re Looking For



* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance



* 2+ years of accounting experience



* Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles



* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software



* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills



* Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments



* Strong written and verbal communication skills



* Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience a plus
