STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Description:

The position of Staff Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and supporting audits and financial reporting. This position reports to the Controller.
Qualifications
* Dedication to excellence and quality output
* BBA or BS with a major in accounting and two plus years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Reporting
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Experience with ERP Systems. Knowledge of Info Visual software a plus
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Audit experience preferred
* Compliance Experience
* Working knowledge in Microsoft Office ®


Responsibilities
* Promote excellence throughout the organization
* Payroll processing
* Accounts receivable collections

* Prepare financial reports and statements including support for month-end and year-end close processes
* General ledger reconciliations, journal entry processing
* Assist with physical inventory administration
* Establish and maintain customer account information
* Compile Sales by State Report and file coinciding sales tax for multiple states
* Support other departments for effective collaboration
* Provide general support to the accounting team by assisting with various tasks and projects as needed, ensuring smooth daily operation across functions
