Our Company: SHG is a leading third-party management company with deep,

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own the month-end close process for an assigned multi-entity portfolio of
properties, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting in
accordance close calendar, GAAP, and USALI guidelines
* Prepare and review journal entries and supporting analyses, ensuring
accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting treatment
* Maintain prepaid expense schedules and ensure proper monthly amortization;
prepare and post accruals
* Prepare and maintain balance sheet and bank reconciliations, as well as other
key account reconciliations; proactively investigate and resolve
discrepancies
* Ensure the integrity of the general ledger through adherence to established
close procedures and internal control standards; identify and implement
process improvements where appropriate
* Prepare and distribute monthly owner reports in accordance with ownership
requirements
* Ensure financial results are clearly communicated and aligned with reporting
standards across multiple ownership structures
* Partner with General Managers and Operations teams to support monthly
financial reviews
* Review month-over-month and forecast-to-actual variances to ensure
completeness and accuracy in financial reporting
* Serve as a reliable point of contact for financial inquiries from
stakeholders
* Prepare cash flow forecasts for assigned properties
* Monitor cash balances and flag any unusual activity to Regional Controller
* Investigate and resolve account variances with a focus on root cause analysis
* Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with accounting
standards, company policies, and applicable regulations
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy,
and enhance efficiency
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 1--3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, real estate,
or similar multi-entity environments
* CPA designation or active pursuit of licensure a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and account
reconciliations
* Familiarity with intercompany accounting including cross-entity transactions
and eliminations in a multi-entity environment
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data
analysis)
* Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business
Central, ProfitSword, or similar)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines across a portfolio of entities
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
