About the job:

Tasked with daily accounting including Accounts Payable review / entry, Accounts Receivable invoice preparation, payment entry, customer statements. Supports the month end close process. Ensure accuracy of data entry and compliance with SOX requirements. Audit support as needed. Daily Commercial reporting.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* Daily Accounting: Ensure timely and accurate Sales Invoice packet preparation, AR payment entry and customer statements, AP Invoice processing
* Monthly: Close support including investigating accounting discrepancies and ad hoc analysis
* Work closely with other operational groups to ensure correct reporting of financial transactions
* Audit Support : SOX compliance, Sample selection support
* Commercial Reporting: Daily Sales performance dashboards, open order reporting, other reports as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

* Effective communication skills within a diverse environment
* Attention to detail / good problem-solving skills
* Understanding of standard GAAP requirements
* Strong Time Management skills / highly organized
* Ability to manage multiple sets of data across multiple environments

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

5+ years of accounting experience

* Full Charge Bookkeeping experience preferred
* Proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite, Great Plains, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
* Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
