Hill Brothers Transportation is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations. If you're looking for a role where accuracy meets growth opportunity in the transportation industry, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

Support our dynamic finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings. You'll ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while working with transportation-specific accounting including fuel tax filings and revenue reconciliation. From preparing journal entries and analyzing financial data to supporting audit requests and process improvements, you'll play a key role in maintaining our financial integrity. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of accounting in a growing transportation company.

Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
3+ years of accounting experience across multiple accounting areas
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail
Experience with TMW, TMT, and Great Plains software preferred
Excellent written communication skills
Self-motivated professional who thrives on accuracy and continuous improvement
