Position Summary
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring the financial integrity of the agency.

Requirements
Position Responsibilities – Essential
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts
Assist in preparing and processing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports
Support in reconciling various accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy
Prepare and file various financial reports
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Advantage, or similar ERP systems).
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Experience with a broad range of accounting functions (A/P, A/R, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Experience with project-based accounting and/or media buying a plus
Experience with billing, invoicing, and collections processes, including managing accounts receivable and following up on outstanding payments
Proven ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity and discretion
Excellent problem-solving skills
