Purpose of the Role
As a Staff Accountant you will support accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Marketing. You are responsible for essential month‑end close activities, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis. Our Accounting team plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting audits, and driving process improvement across the division.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and complete balance sheet reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts with a high level of accuracy.
Support the month-end close process, including accruals, reclasses, and variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Perform day‑to‑day general ledger accounting, including financial reporting and analysis for designated business areas.
Prepare and maintain recurring operational and financial reports, such as daily sales reporting (DSR), logistics metrics, and other key business metrics.
Analyze financial results and identify key drivers of variances, providing clear and actionable explanations to management.
Complete reconciliations for cash, sales, ship-to, and other operational accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
Support fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Respond to inquiries from corporate teams and external partners, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Participate in the development, enhancement and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide financial support for special projects including cost analysis, internal/external audits, sales/use tax audits, manufacturing surveys and other ad-hoc requests.
Contribute to the implementation of new processes and controls, promoting efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 1 year of Accounting or Finance experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Working knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., D365, NAV, Cognos).
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
CPA or MBA
Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience

Compensation Information:
Annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,500. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
