Drive accuracy and accountability across our financial operations. Ideal Ready Mix is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support reconciliations, inventory, and reporting across multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (AR, inventory, royalties, hauling variances)

Support month-end close and prepare journal entries

Maintain and reconcile inventory records across multiple locations

Complete GPS inventory reviews and partner with operations to resolve discrepancies

Apply customer payments and monitor AR aging

Assist with vendor setup, AP payments (check/ACH), and 1099 preparation

Prepare sales tax filings and performance reports

Support compliance, reporting, and special projects as needed

Requirements

2+ years of accounting experience (construction, aggregates, or manufacturing preferred)

Associate’s or Bachelors degree in Accounting/ Finance preferred

Strong Excel and accounting systems experience (Acumatica a plus)

Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
