Position Summary

The Accounting Manager oversees the financial operations and ensures accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, supports financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. This individual also manages accounting processes, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

-Assists with fulfilling statutory reporting requirements, including the preparation of full disclosure financial statements for our two largest legal entities.

-Support team with general accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and month close support.

-Assists with the preparation of statutory financial statements and accompanying footnote disclosures.

-Prepares validations and tie-outs of journal entries and system postings and participates in analytical reviews of statutory financial statements.

-Assists with fulfilling audit and regulatory requests on recurring interim and annual reporting bases.

-Adheres to reporting, audit, and informational request deadlines, including adjusting priorities to meet deadlines for ad-hoc requests.

-Collaborates with multiple departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support the statutory reporting process.

-Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of finance/accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

-Public accounting experience or experience with fulfilling external audit requests.

-Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Analysis for Office (AO).

-Familiarity with Excel and working with large data sets.

-Certified public accountant (CPA)

Education

Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience.
