We are currently seeking a full time Tax Manager to join our team due to continued growth of our firm and increased demand for our professional services. This position reports to the President and will manage a tax department of a few senior level tax accountants.Kline & Company CPA, PC is a leading accounting firm located in Nashua, NH, offering a wide range of tax and accounting services to federal contractors nationwide. While serving the federal contractors who serve the Department of Defense and other agencies, we are known for our professional integrity and our clients consider us experts in helping them achieve and maintain compliance with the government’s regulations regarding accounting and federal contract awards. The ideal candidate will approach the position with the mindset of a team player who exhibits strong organizational skills, professional management skills, proficiency in tax research and tax compliance, a high level of commitment, and enthusiasm for the position.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*:
Manage, supervise, and mentor team members preparing income tax returns
Nurture client relationships while providing exceptional client service
Build new client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of client business
Manage multiple clients simultaneously while making each feel highly valued
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts
Superb technical expertise to include M-1 adjustments and multi state tax returns
Prepare and communicate tax projections for businesses and individuals
Compose thorough and detailed written tax advice
Keep current on all the the latest authoritative guidance
*QUALIFICATIONS*:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA or enrolled agent
At least 6 years experience in a public accountimg.
Highly capable of growing, managing, and mentoring a other tax professionals
Successful experience working collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient computer skills including tax preparation software and QuickBooks
Solid analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Willingness to independently & thoroughly complete necessary research
Self-motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner
Passionate about personal accountability
Experience with LaCerte tax software a plus
MST highly desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
