We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team. In this crucial role, you will lead our tax department, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while providing strategic insights that align with our clients' financial goals. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our service offerings and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
*Responsibilities*

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
* Ensure compliance and meet deadlines with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
* Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, including estate planning strategies.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial services.
* Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients.
* Mentor staff members and provide training on tax-related matters.
* Prepare detailed tax projection reports related to tax positions.
* Responsible for ensuring that all tax engagements meet firm and client deadlines
* Responsible for ensuring that firm set budgets are met on all tax engagements

*Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting ; Active Florida CPA certification is required.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
* Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
* Strong client communication skills
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
* Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
* Excellent writing skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
