Senior Tax Manager (8+ years Public Accounting Experience Required)

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of tax regulations and compliance, along with strong analytical skills to provide strategic tax planning and guidance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our tax reporting processes while also providing leadership to junior staff members.

*Responsibilities*

* Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations
* Lead and manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring accurate and timely filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
* Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients and business units to minimize tax liabilities
* Review and sign off on complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings
* Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax and accounting professionals.
* Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and regulatory reporting requirements
* Evaluate, discuss, and analyze firm internal procedures and software for improvement
* Support firm business development initiatives, including, presentations, net working and relationship building

*Requirements*

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.
* Extensive experience in public accounting
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information effectively
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
