*Tax Manager Description: *Currently seeking a Tax Manager for a position at a growing CPA firm located in southern Fairfield County. The public accounting firm has been in business for over thirty years and provides professional tax and accounting services for a diversified client base, including high net worth individuals, privately held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The firm has a culture that drives professional development, independence and career advancement. We are searching for candidates who will be a long-term asset to our dynamic team.
*Tax Manager Primary Responsibilities:*
* Preparation and review of all types of tax returns (including business, individual, estate, trusts)
* Oversee compliance, due dates, and miscellaneous tax projects
* Tax planning for businesses and individuals
* Perform research and prepare memorandums
* Assist clients with tax audits and IRS or state correspondence
* Staff development and training
*Tax Manager Requirements: *
* Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
* 5+ years of diversified public accounting experience
* Must be CPA certified or in the process
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle several tasks daily
* Experience with CCH products is a plus
