Description:
*Job Summary*We are a boutique wealth management firm that partners with high-net-worth families to provide integrated tax and wealth advisory services. Our mission is to simplify complexity, preserve family wealth, and build long-term, trusting relationships.
We are looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our small tax team in a leadership role.
*Duties*
* Prepare and review complex individual, trust, estate, and LLC tax returns.
* Deliver proactive tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize after-tax wealth.
* Advise on equity compensation strategies (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPPs, restricted stock, deferred comp), including advanced planning for early exercise, AMT exposure, and liquidity events (IPO, M&A, secondary transactions).
* Provide expertise on Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) planning and Section 1202 strategies.
* Collaborate with attorneys and wealth managers to provide integrated family wealth solutions.
* Support estate planning, charitable giving, and succession planning.
* Provide guidance on LLC structures, private investments, and real estate holdings.
* Serve as the primary tax point of contact for clients, delivering high-touch service with discretion.
*Qualifications*
* Active CPA license.
* 10+ years of experience in tax advisory for high-net-worth individuals and families.
* Expertise in individual, estate, gift, trust taxation, and equity compensation planning.
* Experience advising startup founders, executives, and venture-backed employees on stock options, QSBS, and liquidity event planning strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with LLC structures and private investments.
* Strong technical skills (e.g., tax software, Excel, financial reporting tools).
* Exceptional communication and relationship-management skills.
* Ability to balance technical detail with a strategic, big-picture perspective.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
