We’re looking for an experienced *Controller *with a strong background in *manufacturing finance* to lead our accounting operations in a dynamic, FDA-regulated biotech environment. In this role, you will focus on cost accounting, inventory management, and financial planning for production activities. You should excel at cross-functional collaboration, partnering with teams across R&D, manufacturing, and distribution to provide accurate financial reporting and strategic guidance that drives operational success.

*As our Controller, you should possess:*

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, ideally within biotech, medical device, or FDA-regulated industries.
* Advanced knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, variance analysis, and tax strategy related to manufacturing.
* Proficient in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, IQMS) with strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
* Familiar with FDA/ISO compliance and experienced in collaborating with cross-departmental teams (R&D, QA, Supply Chain, etc.).

*Your responsibilities as the Controller will include:*

* Oversee Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Manage standard costing, cost variances, inventory valuation, and work order accounting to ensure accurate product costing and financial integrity.
* Lead Financial Reporting & Compliance: Direct month-end close, prepare financial statements with variance analysis, and ensure adherence to GAAP and FDA regulatory requirements.
* Manage Tax Strategy & Compliance: Oversee tax filings, identify manufacturing-related tax incentives, and collaborate with advisors on strategic tax planning.
* Drive Cross-Functional Financial Alignment: Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align budgets, forecasts, and operational reporting across the organization.
* Champion Process Improvement & Team Leadership: Mentor accounting staff, enhance ERP and financial systems, and implement controls that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
