Description:
*Job Summary*We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, with the ability to assist clients in navigating their tax obligations. MUST have tax return preparation and review experience with a Public Accounting Firm. This role requires excellent analytical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
*Duties*
* Upper level review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to final partner review.
* Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity.
* Provide support in financial planning by analyzing clients' financial situations and recommending strategies for tax efficiency.
* Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax filings and respond to inquiries regarding their accounts.
* Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.
* *Requirements*
* Minimum 5 years Public Accounting experience is a must, CPA is not required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Strong understanding of financial concepts, including technical accounting principles.
* Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
* Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in preparing tax returns is highly desirable.
* Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of financial matters.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
