Senior Tax Consultant

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced *Senior Tax Consultant* to join our team. This role focuses on reviewing corporate and partnership tax filings, managing provisions, and supporting compliance, planning, and audits. You’ll collaborate with finance teams, oversee junior staff or consultants, and provide tax expertise across the business.

*Responsibilities*

* Review corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns.
* Oversee estimated payments, extensions, and year-end tax provisions (ASC 740).
* Partner with finance/accounting to analyze data and support filings.
* Respond to tax notices and resolve issues with tax authorities.
* Manage and mentor team members on projects.
* Support audits, planning, and special projects.

*Requirements*

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 8+ years of income tax compliance experience (public accounting preferred).
* Strong knowledge of corporate/partnership tax and ASC 740.
* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, formulas).
* Strong communication, organizational, and research skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $115.00 - $150.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90067
