Description:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of multi-state payroll and related activities through Oracle HCM system.
- Maintain compensation objectives and ensure they are in line with General RV Center's processes and procedures.
- Create and promote a department culture of internal customer service to General RV employees and stakeholders.
- Act as subject matter expert to payroll specialist and stakeholders with any compensation related questions or issues.
- Monitor the payroll process and compensation programs in order to streamline operations and make recommendations for improved processes where needed.
- Other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Payroll experience, supervisory or management experience required.
- Previous experience with Oracle HCM and ADP is preferred but not required.
- Must have experience processing payroll on a computer-based or web-based system.
- Knowledge of all applicable federal (DOL) and multi-state payroll and employment laws.
- Understanding of wage attachments such as garnishments, child support, levies etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to exercise considerable discretion and judgment in handling the highest level of confidential information.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Reliable and strong work ethic.
