Assistant Controller

Description:

*Job Summary*

Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller will rotate GL Responsibilities along with other team members to include but are not limited to the following for the three companies within the organization:

* Month-End Journal Entries
* Monthly Balance Sheet GL Reconciliations – understand/review/prepare.
* Inventories – Valuation and understanding adjustments & GL posting
* Fixed Assets – Maintain using Sage Fixed Asset Management
* Personal and Real Property Tax - Payment, Reporting
* Payroll – Benefits, Tax Payments, Tax Returns
* Deposits & Prepaids – Ensuring proper expense amortization.
* DMV Fee - payments/registrations/California and Nevada transfers/IFTA filing

Additional Responsibilities:

· Assist in review of Profit Center Operating Expenses / Allocations of the 50+ Profit Centers within the company.

· Review Profit Center data for accuracy.

· Assist in Power BI Dashboards creation of Operational/Financial Analytics

· Monthly preparation of data, ensuring accuracy, for existing Power BI Dashboards

· Ability to troubleshoot Proprietary Software

*Salary*: $125,000 – 150,000

*Monday – Friday Weekends as Needed*

B.S. Accounting

Auditing

3 Yrs experience in Public Accounting

Management Skills/Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
