Full Job description Griffing & Company, P.C. is an established, full service, CPA firm in Sugar Land. We are searching for someone motivated to join our team as a tax manager experienced in partnerships, and high net worth individuals. This is a technical tax manager position.

This is not an entry level position; at least 9 years of experience is required. Previous tax experience in a small to mid‐size CPA firm is a plus. However, we do have National firm alumni that are successful members of the team. Duties · Review and/or prepare Federal and State individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, gift, and non‐profit tax returns however with a focus on partnerships. · Research complex tax issues. · Prepare or review tax planning engagements including meeting with clients on results and ideas. · Represent clients on IRS matters. · Maintain client relationships and advise on various tax and business matters. · Supervise less experienced team members. Qualifications · CPA · Ability to work well with other firm members and clients. · 9+ years of recent Public Accounting firm experience · Critical thinking and ability to multi‐task · Diverse tax experience · Working knowledge of QuickBooks · PC proficient · Excellent verbal, written and listening skills. · Knowledge of CCH ProSystem’s software is a plus. · International tax knowledge is a plus.
