Job Description:

Responsible for the monthly close process including creating and entering journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and loading financial data into Oracle Cloud EPM FCC. This position will also work to standardize and streamline current processes as well as assist with various financial projects.     

Required Skills:

• Assist with monthly financial close including journal entries, FCC loads and reconciliations.

• Review, record, and analyze cash transactions, reconcile cash GL accounts.

• Daily review of positive pay transactions and process stop payments.

• Researches and works with AR specialists to resolve wires, ACH and vendor payment discrepancies.

• Assist with preparation of Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasting.

• Coordinate and support international entities on monthly close procedures

• Reconcile intercompany activity with international entities

• Assist in maintaining all internal controls as well as assisting with all external and internal audits

• Facilitate transfer pricing with Tax, as well as assisting with statutory audits.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in all aspects of accounting, manufacturing preferred

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with accounting concentration

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting and automated accounting systems

• Experience with non-US entities preferred

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, and outside professionals.

• Outstanding communication skills

• Excellent computer/systems/PC skills

• Ability to perform, manage and/or direct multiple tasks and determine priorities

• ERP System experience, JDE E1, a plus

• Experience with online bank reporting tools a plus

• FCC experience a plus
