General Accountant

We are currently looking to hire an experienced General Accountant to join the organization’s Corporate Accounting team.

Description:

• Prepare and understand recurring and non-recurring journal entries, research and resolve reporting errors or discrepancies timely.

• Perform monthly analysis of expense and revenue variances to budget.

• Perform monthly reconciliations timely and accurately. Investigate and resolve reconciling items.

• Perform other month end duties and assist in the preparation of financial reports and data required on a timely basis.

• Prepare quarterly cost allocation studies

• Assist in identifying and documenting processes and procedures.

• Work cross-functionally with other team members to gain understanding of business and data requirements to ensure general ledger balances are correct, transactions are classified properly and reported accurately.

• Perform ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

• Process payments to vendors timely

• Assist management in ad hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with different departments within the organization.

• Experience working in a fast paced and heavy deadline driven environment

• Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$24.77 - $33.03
