Job Details:
This position is responsible for performing and/or overseeing transactions relating to fixed assets, such as capitalization, transfer, impairment, retirement, and sale of property. Additional responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, assisting in special projects, and the financial closing process. Supervisory responsibilities include reviewing fixed asset transactions performed by other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred).
Experience: 3+ years of related experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Communication Skills: Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Supervisory Responsibility: 1
Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year
Special Skills: Certified Public Accountant, eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not required.
