Accountant/Bookkeeper - Outsourced

We are hiring in our Lancaster location for our integral Outsourced Accountant/Bookkeeper role. Part-time or reduced-hour schedules will be considered. Come join a Best Places to Work in PA team!

This individual will provide accounting related supports to our clients in the areas of general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, bookkeeping and payroll related items.

Main responsibilities include:

• Using strengths, skills and experience to provide bookkeeping, accounting and payroll functions on engagement teams
• Recording of transactions, cash receipts
• Prepare and process client payroll, pay payroll tax and related benefit payments
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
• Post information to accounting software from client source documents
• Complete payroll tax returns for review
• Prepare month end and year end close for clients
• Ensure financial data is entered accurately
• Handle client communication, as appropriate
  
• Other duties, as assigned

Top candidate will possess:

• Excellent attention to detail and focus in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication, customer service, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Collaborative team player while able to work independently
• MS Office and QuickBooks along with ability to learn new software
• Associates in accounting or related program preferred
• 2+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
