Description:
Job Summary : Oversee and perform all accounting and reporting procedures of the facility, as required by the President of the company. This is a Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm position. Hybrid from home & Enfield Office 1-2 days a week.
Essential Functions:
- Reconcile all General Ledger Accounts
- Export GL from software used for gas customers; reconcile card lock activity and house charges daily
- Prepare monthly invoice for lease of location in Scotland Neck
- Reconcile daily bank entries online with accounting software
- Record Excentus activity daily; pull loyalty amounts from Shell's portal
- Month end processing; create and enter all necessary journal entries; oversee any entries to be made by C-Store Auditor
- Prepare monthly P & L and other operating statements as required
- Oversee Accounts Payable & Payroll
- Enter monthly gallons for Exxon BIP; record Shell BIP for year end
- Record inventory audits for C-Stores once completed
- Experience with Sage/Intacct is a plus
- Analyze various inventories at cost, retail, fuel and wholesale & correct
- Manage asset accounts for preparation of property taxes & depreciation
- Work with General Manager of Propane & analyze Accounts Receivable for bad debt
- Assist President in retrieving data & reports using various Software modules to research certain projects
- Pull cigarette rebates and post as money is received
- Export invoices from C-Store into Accounting Software
- Retrieve credit card statement and process a payment in a timely fashion; send copies to each employee with a card requisting copies of their receipts; prepare so Accounts Payable can post and process payment
- Prepare documents for annual insurance audit
- Be the lead in gathering all informaiton for Open Enrollment
- All other duties and responsiblities as assigned including but not limited to:
Maintaining and Reporting OSHA's Form 300, Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, Form 300 A, Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, and Form 301, Injury and Illness Incident Report
