Description:

The Accountant is primarily responsible for completing accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger. This includes tracking billing, accrual, payments and true-up for client liabilities. This role will also be responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Processing accurate monthly journal entries.
Prepare monthly client liabilities accruals.
Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Assist with preparing SOX controls.
Works on special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
0-2 years relevant experience
PC skills, Microsoft Office programs, Strong Excel skills with the ability to easily learn new software.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Self-starter and team player.
Detail oriented.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate departmental and project deadlines.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $56,200 - $93,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
