Description:

RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for an entry level Accountant to join our team.This role may be performedremotely anywhere in the state of Minnesota or Western Wisconsin. We will periodically request attendance at in-person group meetings, training, and events.

This is an exciting time to join the successful accounting team at Rayus Radiology following multiple acquisitions completed in 2021. The accountant I will be assigned a market with multiple locations and learn to do full cycle accounting for that market with mentorship from their manager and peers.

Accountants at Rayus Radiology are exposed to many areas of accounting including month-end close, fixed assets and depreciation, purchase accounting via acquisitions, preparing pro-formas for growth initiatives, market budgets and ad-hoc analysis to assist market leaders, and financial reviews with board members.

Our accountants build a strong skill-set with a wide variety of exposure not typical of accountants who are early in their career. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) General Accounting

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts
  • Ensures all accounting activity is recorded accurately and timely
  • Performs timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assists in the year-end audit
  • Ensures proper internal controls
  • Improves and implements processes and procedures
  • Understand the assigned market's organizational structure
  • Participate in monthly financial review call with Operations
  • Monitor progress on capital projects and spend

(10%) Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of GAAP
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols, including HIPAA
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software
