We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Accountant with Financial systems and data reconciliation expertise. We are looking for an extremely detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a team-based environment.

  • Support the Fandango Accounting team on all month-end close process, including preparing and posting journal entries – primarily for our Home Entertainment (Vudu) business
  • Process royalty invoices on a monthly basis
  • Help with month-end account reconciliations, preparation, and review, on a timely basis
  • Responsible for data requests from various departments
  • Help validate data input from various sources and ensure data integrity (e.g. subsystem reconciliation, bank, and point-of-sale tie-outs)
  • Complete ongoing accounting projects to build efficiencies and automation
  • Assess current process and propose efficiency suggestions
  • Help standardize accounting files and processes across all revenue streams within Fandango
  • Organize and maintain accounting policies, processes, and help find efficiencies
  • Provide testing documents and other requests for external and internal audits as required
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to brainstorm options and be a forward thinker
  • Support long-term Global Controllership initiatives for automation and standardization
  • Other various special projects and analysis as assigned


  • Preferred 1+ years of prior accounting experience, with strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Intermediate to expert level MS Excel skills are required
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Project management experience
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Understanding of general ledger functionality
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at Fandango’s sole discretion
