Paramount is seeking an outstanding Accountant! This person will be an important member of the Paramount Global Financial Reporting team and will interact with many different groups within the organization. The Accountant will support the CBS Media Ventures and Global Distribution groups. The person in this role will assist in ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial reporting.

This position offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity within a successful and growing global media organization! It will provide wide ranging exposure to the evolving entertainment industry while working within the Controllership group of Paramount Global.

Overview and Responsibilities:
  • Process Entitlements and Royalties
  • Assist in Passback Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze Intra-Divisional Revenue and Cost
  • Analyze and Clear Liability Accounts
  • Assist in Cash Management Reconciliations
  • SOX and Audit Documentation Requests
  • Miscellaneous Researches
  • Prepare Adhoc Reports
  • Other Special Projects as needed
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting / finance (entertainment experience a plus, but not required)
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must have the ability to research and reconcile outstanding balances
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access preferred
  • Strong work ethic, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong teammate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Complete goals and deadlines
  • Influence and efficiently communicate with colleagues to drive work forward
  • Design, apply, and interpret robust analytical solutions to support decisions
