THE POSITION

wants to talk to you!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is a supervisory position that performs professional accounting work by examining,
analyzing, and reporting results on the review of financial transactions with a focus on
consistency and compliance at the enterprise level. Monitors SAP payment functions
including payroll, HR, and invoice processing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and
timeliness; promotes efficiency and/or mitigates risk in areas of responsibility and provide a
cost-effective uniform system of accounting and financial controls to ensure accountability
of government funds.

Work Hours and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment - 37.5 hour work week
• Work hours - 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday with a 30 minute lunch period
• You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - one year as an Accountant 1; OR two years of professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting. Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.
