About the Role:

We are looking for a world-class Accounting Associate to help manage a variety of bookkeeping/accounting and administrative tasks at Cozymeal. The individual in this role is expected to be experienced enough to work remotely and independently with limited supervision.This is a part-time employee role (20 hrs a week) with future full-time potential. The role is open to all candidates across the US and we are looking to hire someone long-term and provide the individual with growth opportunities within the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to own and execute projects end-to-end, and doesn't shy away from asking questions whenever something is not clear.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations.
• Assist in processing accounts payable.
• Help prepare the company's tax filings
• File and track company receipts/subscriptions/registrations.
• Assist in regular system audits.
• Communicate with employees, vendors, and clients when issues arise.

Requirements Include:

• 3+ years of experience working as a bookkeeper.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in accounting, business or related field.
• Advanced working knowledge of Quickbook Online and Excel
• Ability to utilize advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and vlookups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing sales tax returns is a plus.

Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/week)
