We're looking for someone to join our team as an Associate Accountant who:

Assists with general accounting duties such as preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assists with monthly closings and account analysis.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares journal entries. Assists in monthly and year-end closings, prepares monthly financial statements, and general ledger operations.
  • Administers accounts receivables and accounts payable. Prepares tax computations and returns. Assists in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitors and resolves bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences. Reviews and processes expense reports.
  • Assists with preparation and coordination of the audit process. Assists with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Prepares and processes payroll. Provides payroll reports.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's / Technical Degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Preferred
