We’re hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You’ll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records. $50,000 - $75,000 yearly


  • Complete other accounting tasks as needed to assist the real estate team
  • Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses
  • Review accounts payable and receivable everyday to make sure invoices and expense reports are accurate
  • Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time
  • Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost


  • Understands basic rules of GAAP
  • Must have high school diploma or GED, college degree helpful but not required
  • Experience in real estate industry preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks
  • Financial statement preparation, review, analysis and distribution
  • Calculate and maintain fixed asset schedules
  • Process and prepare monthly and year-end books for several entities
  • Voucher review and approval of accuracy of voucher
  • Deposit review and approval
  • Daily cash reviews and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Analyze underlying data for variances and/or discrepancies
  • Prepare journal entries, ensure processed correctly
  • Support Operations regarding accounting activity
  • Assist with annual budgets and tax preparation projects
  • Coordinate workflow and data accuracy between A/R, A/P, Job Cost, Legal, Leasing and other accountants
  • Reconcile General Ledger
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
