Global Consolidations – Accountant II

Now Brewing – Accountant! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only
celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As an accountant II on the Global Consolidations team, you will assist with consolidating the financial results for all Starbucks entities, including monitoring intercompany activities. As an Accountant II, you will…
  • Monitor intercompany activities – You will be responsible for monitoring the elimination of intercompany transactions across the globe, including investments in subsidiaries and common stock, A/R and A/P, and royalty and license fees.
  • Deliver Quarterly Schedules – You will prepare documents to support our SEC filings.
  • Support the RDP Program – You will train and support the Rotational Development Partners (RDP’s) who rotate through the team.
  • Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and partner with other teams in cross-functional initiatives that impact legal entities across the globe.
We’d love to hear from people with:
  • 2 years general accounting at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with consolidations and eliminations, intercompany transactions, foreign exchange accounting and/or legal entity accounting a plus.
