Our Commercial Lines Premium Audit department is seeking a Regional Associate Auditor to join our growing team.

Position summary:

This position is responsible for providing technical analysis and expertise in determining/verifying the proper exposures to calculate, with accuracy and completeness, the earned premiums for all segments of commercial auditable business Performs internal, independent analysis of information reported by policyholders, agents, staff and fee auditors applying various manual rules and procedures to determine correct exposures, classifications and earned premiums Accountable for responding to customer inquiries via phone or written correspondence with a level of satisfaction that equals or exceeds customer expectations.

This is a Full-time, Non-Exempt role.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Apply knowledge of all auditable policy coverages and endorsements and implement all manual rules and classifications
  • Analyze and verify confidential financial and risk information reported by policyholders, CPA's, agents and auditors on agency express and assigned risk policies to determine correct exposures for accurate billing
  • Prepare and compute earned premium statements on agency express and assigned risk policies using various data entry and rating applications
  • Review and respond to correspondence on mail audits within their letter of authority Refers other correspondence to more experienced Associate Auditors
  • With assistance handle complex and elevated issues
  • Manage individual territory providing timely, accurate billing of audits and meet or exceed production requirements
  • Completion of all reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain classification integrity
  • Assist in the development of forms and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Two years equivalent insurance/audit related experience
  • Laptop computer skills in windows, spreadsheet or word document applications
  • Applies basic communication skills in both written and oral form
  • Oral and written skills as well as active listening skills
  • Above average interpersonal skills
  • Above average analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with agents, coworkers and policyholders in a positive and helpful manner
  • Effectively manages workload to achieve team goals
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fluid environment and handle multitasks competently
  • Completion or commitment of the General Insurance designation.
